PSL SCOPE

Posted this on the optics threads but figured I'd post it here as well to get varying input.

My PSL which should be cleared this week came with the standard 4x scope but I want something stronger than that.
SO I'm stuck with Scope decision for my PSL. I was originally thinking IP21 (3-9x ) or go with a non IP21 scope like.. the following links below?

These are my picks

IP21

Links didn't work for me, but I got a fixed 8x for my PSL from Kalinkaoptics and it's working fine for me.
- Also added a check pad as it sits a bit high.

Reading through how you work with the variable POSP variants, it looked like they are not really suitable for the range - IMHO.

I went through kalinka optics and got a posp 4-12 variable, It was ok, has about the same magnifying power as my leupold 3-9, looking back I would have gotten the fixed X8 power POSP model.

8x will be fine that is what I have on my PSL and it gets me out well beyond 400yrds if needed. If you got to sniperforums...A majority have the 8x.

I'm just having a hard time deciding who to buy from as Kalinka from what I've seen around the net has bad reviews from customers on various forums, Tantal I heard is now gone and some other sellers have closed down

Who did you get yours from?

I got a POSP 3-9x42 from kalinka without issue at all. It works, is a fine scope and shipping was a breeze. I would go with them as my adivce to you.

I'm happy with Kalinka's service - no issues.
- also look at the ak47 forum for PSL, POSP and Kalinka input.

Kalinka is great. They sent me batteries when the original that came with the scope did not work.

Cool, I just did a test run order with them under $50 to see how they handle it. If everything goes well I might order the IP21 from them. My PSL is being released from Jail today in a couple days.
