    How's Primaryarms' H1?

I've been looking for an Aimpoint H1/T1, and found my way to Primaryarms because I heard a lot of positive comments about their "clones" of Eotech/Aimpoints.

But to my surprise, they actually stock real Aimpoints, and their H1 is only $470, by far the cheapest I've seen anywhere.

Are these legit? They're cheaper than other places by $100 to $200, should I be concerned if these are refurbished?

    Thanks

Also, how's their Micro Dot? It seems to be the clone I heard about, do they hold up on a 22LR? I'm thinking about putting a real one on the AR and something cheaper on the Sig522.

    Thanks

ive been using their t1 on my AR for about 8 months or so, and ive shot maybe 1500 rounds with it on. It holds its zero as far is i can tell, and i have had no problems at all with the unit. My only complaint is that i cant get it to co-witness. In my case it really isnt a big issue because i am using the magpul mbus.

My concern is the incredible pricing on their H1/T1. Primaryarms' T1 is priced at $533, Riflegear's is priced at $633.

          WTH?

It's $100 cheaper for no reason?

Primary Arms are good folks. I see them all the time here at the Houston Gun Show circuit. They sell legit gear and if you're not happy with their stuff, they'll take care of you.

You're not using the right mount if you can 't get absolute or 1/3 co-witness with your T-1 on an AR.

As for pricing, an H-1 for under $500 sounds right. A T-1 for under $500 would make me wonder.

If you're planning to buy a mount and not use the one the H-1 comes with, the best price around is Botach. $400 for a H-1 without factory mount. Plenty of guys have gotten them from Botach without issue. Check out M4carbine.net

I have their T-1 clone. I'd dump the mount for it, mine loosened after about 1k rounds. I've got a larue on the way.

I'll be replacing the PA with an H-1 once I can scrounge up the cash. I don't need the T-1, as night vision gear is a bit out of my price range.

The PA isn't a bad optic by any means. Just remember that it isn't an aimpoint. The mount is kinda ghetto though.

It is excellent, however, for an plinking/range only setup.

We do have an optics sub forum, just sayin

Well, all of Primary Arms products are a good value, especially for the money. If you plan on just using it on the weekends at the range, or for a 22lr, it should do just fine. Some have it on their shotguns and say that it holds zero. I dont know about long term use but everybody seems to be happy with PA products. But if you wanna run it hard, nothing will hold up like a real Aimpoint or EOTech.

Primary Arms is the real deal. They are very honest on the phone about the products they carry, whether from top tier brands like eotech and aimpoint, or their own clown clones.

I had a microdot for a week and returned it to them in trade for an eotech xps. I had ordered a Larue mount for it but came to my senses and realized I was 250 bucks in. Put in a bit more got an xps. Got an awesome deal on it.

Just purchased a H1 from them not to long ago. So far it looks like the real deal from what I have seen and compared to online. Legit 100% in my opinion. I feel you on the price though, at first it made me wonder why is it so cheap? It is probably some sort of marketing/sales tactic for them for you to go on their website. I am pretty sure that they don't make much on the Aimpoint H1's. The only place cheaper that has it 100 percent legit from what they say at AR15.com is from Botach.. But since we Californians have to pay tax and shipping... Primary was a bit cheaper. And shipping was fast! 3 days from TX.

Thanks guys, I'll be buying the H1 from PA.

Is there a mount for the H1 on a flatop AR15 that holds zero even after I detach it? Preferably something that attach and detach quickly too.

                          Couldn't hurt to ask.

                            Larue LT660 for 1/3 or LT751 for absolute cowitness. I think they're both $98.

Thanks. I have no rear sight installed, and will be taking off the front sight to save weight. So I have nothing to co witness with.

Which mount should I use in this case?
