Anybody have a 16" upper (any brand) with a 5" Fake can on the end?

Like I was just saying to shark via PM, Im not sure if I like the 16" or 20" more. I love both looks, but would like to know from a tactical standpoint, what are the advantages, disadvantages for both? I guess the 16" would be better for home defense because of the tight quarters in a home, compared to the 20" for long range business. It would be fun as hell to have both, but initially I got to pick one style and go with it. Im thinking as far as looks go, a 16" with a floating grip and a 5" fake can on the end (to extend the length) make look the best. Anybody have any pictures of a combo like that?

If you are CERTAIN that you are going to have the can on your 16" all the time... why don't you just going with a 20" and use the slip-on can.... so it will look like a 14.5" + 5.5" = 20"..... a 16" and a extended can, 16" + 5" = 21"
both build are similar lenght.... but the 20" build will launch the bullets quite a bit faster....

Interesting. Atleast cosmetically, I kinda like the look of the "M4 Style" with the shortened Fore grip. The 16" also looks alot better with the vertical foregrip. But looks always come last because the weapon is going to see alot of action at the range. I have a few days to think about it though

if you want to buy a 16" barrel and have the same lengh when you have your fake can on there, get the spike tactical fake can, make sure the threadings are at the END of the can.

if you want to buy the 16" barrel and have 5" added to the front and be 21" long, get the spike tactical fake can with the threadings at the FRONT of the can.
        The stuff that goes boom.

hmmm i am kinda confused what look r you looking for....

a 16" M4.... with a 5.5" can extension looks.... LONG... cuz... there will be like a 5"-6" of space between your FSB and your barrel ends.... and that will be just a bare barrel....

a 16" M4 w/ a 5.5" can slip-on... will actually look like a SWAT Entry team like 11.5" barrel with an extension suppressor.... that look is HOT... here it is.... 16" M4 barrel w/ Spike Slip-on 5.5"

Check out the MFI M4 slip on. Super tacti-cool look. I'm probably gonna do the mall ninja thing myself, and put one of these on my CAR 16" build.

you should ask ns3v3n for pics of a 16 inch barreled upper with an 5 inch extended fake can.i think he sold it already, kinda looked too funky for my taste.

                        My question is:
Why would anybody want to put a fake can on, unless it is bring an SBR to legal length?

If you remove a flash hider to go featurless and don't want to put a compensator on it because of the noise issue.

                          And, it looks 'Tacticool'

Does anyone make a fake can that uses the last 1.5" or so as a flash hider??

I guess it would look something to this effect.
