    American Outdoor Supply

Just wanted to give a quick plug for American Outdoor Supply in Livermore, these guys rock. This is the place I purchased my M1A from.

If you are in the tri-valley area there is no reason you should not be shopping at American Outdoor Supply in Livermore. Cool people there, very knowledgable and very helpful. I feel very comfortable with my purchase knowing that they are there to help with any questions or problems I might encounter. Also, AOS has been in Livermore for a long time, if you knew the old location they've moved and are now over by Pearson's stereo.

Could I have gotten my rifle for less online? Maybe, but then where do you go when you've got questions/problems/etc? Same with bike shops, you can get em cheaper online but you've gotta support your local shops, where else you gonna go when you need help?

Besides you can just hangout and bs guns anyways.

Mr. Miogi is awesome. I always love stopping off in that place when I get the chance.
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

Sortof at the corner of 1st street and church street. If you were on 1st st going east, you know where that fruit stand is at on the right? Well they're on the left side of the street kinda tucked back in there.

btw: if you dig korean food a good quick lunch place for it opened up and it is right next to the gun shop in that little strip mall area. Across from John's burgers, which is also great. Too bad Ben sold Ben's

the old chinese guy in the is bitter and not very willing to help, but thats ok because he is finally going to retire. Ive been shopping there for a long time and even tried to buy guns from him before. he just isnt very interested in helping his customers. the other two guys who work there are very eager to help, but i have found that they do not know much about reloading or hunting. at least they will admit it. They have a plan to re build the inside of the store to be more organized and fit newer products. it should be a quality store soon enough.

Got my Mom's 10/22 and my Beretta through him as well as all my Surefire products. Great guys, very knowledgable, however NOT OLL friendly. I had to go to Irvington Arms for that (also very cool guys).

Rich (owner) is only short tempered when he thinks you are just dicking around. Buy some stuff and stop in and he gets friendly, his son is awesome to talk with as are most of the other guys who hang out there.

That guy has always been funny as hell whenever I've stopped in. He's always been willing to help, but I guess it's because every time I've stopped in I've been willing to buy

I work in Livermore and started going there when I got my present job. After a few visits, and having bought powder and primers from them, I stopped going there because the old Japanese guy is a bit whacky. He can be friendly and nice one day, and an absolute jerk the next day.
