    Bullet Button Exercises?

Does anyone have any good exercises involving reloading with a bullet bullet? I'd like to get a bit faster but I can't figure out any good ways of doing so. Also, what's the fastest legal way to reload? I wouldn't think I could make some key I can wear on my finger right?

I wear mine around my wrist. Drops clear during firing, and easily into my hand by dropping my hand.
I can reload rather fast that way.

It's not attached to the rifle is it?
Then it's a tool you wear really no different than my (dummy round) bullet on a lanyard.
I didn't like the pick myself but to each their own.

Is that a Sloar Tatical grip cover? I know they did that for the KelTec Sub-2000. Does that turn an M4 into a CA legal rifle without a bullet button? That seems just too easy to be true.

it is in fact a solar tactical grip. and no, it would not turn an m4 into a ca legal rifle, because an m4 has a collapsible stock. but with the flash hider removed, this century hk93 clone becomes a non-evil rifle.

for clarity- this poor excuse of an homage to the m16a2 is in ca-legal featureless condition with either one of these two lower receivers. it uses a yhm MUZZLE BRAKE, as opposed to the a2 FLASH HIDER, has no forward vertical handgrip, no grenade/flare launcher, a fixed a2 buttstock, and either a MMG or a solartac wrap. detachable magazine approved! boston baked beans are not considered by CaDOJ to be an evil feature, they are merely delicious. and somewhat irrelevant.

So with a permanently pinned stock and the flash hider removed this would turn an M4 into a legal CA rifle then....hmmm...might be worth an OLL build then...

Well, actually, I should consult the flowchart to be safe rather than sorry to be sure ALL evil features are neutralized.

Yes Lloyd, my apologies for the thread jack--I was too excited seeing daylight for a legal modified M4 that I lost my head. Arrrrgh, me be a thread pirate and I be sorry mate. Arrrgh.

^ m4 stock is easily pinned to be none telescoping.

see my edit for clarity, sorry so late. ^^^

and sorry for the derail, lloyd! im done. but yeah, from what i hear gpik is good to go! somebody used to make a funnel for the bullet button, to help guide whatever tool into it easier, and without having to stare at it so hard.... wonder what happened with those..

so you shoot right handed, switch the gun to your left hand so you can drop the mag with your right hand, then reload with your right hand?

                        Seems complicated.

No it's fine. Good on you guys for admitting the jacking and then getting back on track. I know you can use a tool but I read something that made it sound like you couldn't use a tool that would attach to a finger and make it that easy. Only thing I don't like about that pick is if I wore it on my index, which is what I would naturally want to use to reload, it seems it could get caught on the trigger or change the way I squeeze the trigger. I'll have to try it to be sure. Thanks for the recommendations. I think my next build will be featureless. Although, I am trying to move out to a "free" state soon so it may be weird going there with a featureless build.

If he's supporting the forend with his left hand he could let go of the pistol grip to do that. Also, a sling would lend support.

im pretty sure if you have the tool on a lanyard attached to the RIFLE, that's very bad. but on a middle finger is a good compromise of being legal, fast, and not getting in the way too much. but i think the biggest thing is just dropping the mag from all different shooting positions, so many times that you want to puke. then it will be ingrained in your "muscle memory," and you can do it without hardly thinking about it. but yeah, dude.. featureless. most of the parts are normal, fixed stocks and muzzle brakes. just keep the regular grip that comes with the lpk, for when you move away. or when all the CGF chess pieces align just right.. what is it, 4 pawns to block the queen?
