Hello All,

Since both Indoor/Outdoor ranges do not allow steel-cored/bi-metal ammo this hot summer season... so I've been searching, but seem not to find any Cheap Army Surplus Range Safe .308 ammo...Where should I order them for the best price?

I use British Radway and South African surplus with pretty good results.

I don't think the army has any extra ammo to surplus.
Besides, Clinton's executive order banned the army from selling off excess ammo.
The army must now dis-assemble the ammo before the loose components can be sold.

They had some FN 7.62 NATO rounds for about $.45/round in one 1,000 canister, cheaper than whatever color Wolf/Bear ammo you can find at the moment. Don't know if they'll have it again. Wish I had bought more.

They regularly sell German DAG and South African surplus for about $.50/round for the last year or so.
