    MSAR E4 reliability

    Anyone on here have a 2nd Gen. MSAR E4 w/ the new 'refined' bolt ? Is it worth $1600.00 ? {the original MSAR 556's had some FTF and FTE issues}

    The very first MSAR's have teething problems, were recalled and fixed. The problems have not appeared again. The MSARs are plenty reliable. Never heard of this refined bolt.

        I think that they re-designed the extractor and how it fits in the bolt.
        thus ,"refined". From what I hear,the AR's are getting more 'safe time'
        when an MSAR shows up. It is now the rifle to take to the range.
