AK Build Help!

I am looking to build an ak and i have not owned or built one before. I want to build a clean reliable rifle. Not sure what brands out there have good reliability. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Take a look at these threads They'll give you an idea of what to do.

This is what a build party thread looks like, everyone helps each other to complete thier rifles including advice, parts questions, finding what you need, assembly etc etc.

This will give you some idea of what it takes to build the reciever, theres more to completely finishing the rifle but this is where you'd start.

This is what a good starter kit looks like its a Romainian "G" kit, http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=177677056 it has all the original parts from the rifle and the barrel has not been cut. Buying kits with mismatched parts or new barrels makes things a bit more difficult so it is not reccommended for the first time builder. You will also need the 922R compliance parts mentioned in the build party thread.
