Life can make you do many things, even kiss a man with a runny nose.

Chris and Myself can make you a 10rd magazine for your project.
If you have the kit that came with the demilled receiver stubs still in the kit, I'd be very interested in knowing where you got it.
I have the blue prints for a VZ58. If i can find a kit that has the front part of the receiver with the locking lug intact, I will build a CA legal VZ with a fixed 10rd magazine. The rifle is really very simple and similiar to the AK in the way you can make a receiver for it.
I planned to make a jig to spec and fill the missing sections with milled steel and rails welded on like on an AK (mill the side plates and use bent sheet "Rails" to make the ejectors, etc)
Anyway, mags are not a problem. You also might want to consider modifying the rifle itself to use AK47 mags since they are same caliber and much more common/cheaper.
Good luck.
J"War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. Only a small 'inside' group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes."

Or you could buy several mosin nagants for the price of one SKS.
Also, I am pretty sure I could get at least half a dozen knives for the price of a mosin.
Rocks are even better. I get 'em FREE. PM me for details."War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious.
