    bullet button mod help

I need to cut the bullet button mag lock a bit shorter to fit.
    How should I do this?

I have a Dremel and only have experience cutting wood. Thanks!

Why does it's length effect how it fits into the receiver? It shouldn't.

You will have to hammer the thing into place. It is designed to where you have to really give it a good rap to get it into the receiver so that way it won't be able to pull out and cam the bar into releasing the magazine without the use of a tool.

I have yet to have a Bullet Button not fit into any of the receivers I have installed them in.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.

keep in mind, the bullet button's "cage" will stick out quite a bit further than a normal mag button. This is by design, so don't screw with it

Thanks to all the above responding posters.
          They are 100 percent correct.
DO not shorten th BB cage.
If you shorten the back, the spring will not work, and if you shorten the front, the button will be accessable by yor finger. Ths condition will render the BB ineffective as a mag lock.

PM me with any other issues, we can ork them out together.
