    Kel Tec RFB

Read a little about them and they actually look like a handsome bullpup, as opposed to some others I've seen. The other attractive feature is that the spent cartridges are ejected through a forward chute, brilliant engineering on their part. However, they look ridiculous when firing 7.62 NATO. Has anyone here ever fired one and are they even legal in Cali?

I hope they come out with a 5.56x45mm edition eventually, it just makes sense.

Very unsual, and very cool. It's weird seeing the the spent cartridges dribble out of the front of the weapon.

This video shows a cutaway RFB in action:

At first the "dribbling empties" concept bothered me too, until I found out that if it was fired constantly, whilst aimed at an upwards angle, that, after a while, the shells would dribble out, and not get backed-up and jammed.

I don't think I'll be getting one any time soon, esp in that caliber, it just doesn't seem like the wisest choice. But maybe with a longer barrel and a good bipod. Mainly wanted to hear from someone who owns one and what their thoughts are on it.

I guess my search (via calguns search engine) on Firefox blows because it's not bringing up any ads :-/

Just did a google search for RFB and found this thread -
