    AR 9mm 10/32 conversion??

    Hello There,

    I'm looking for a tutorial on how to convert a c-product 32 rounder to a 10 rounder.
    Anyone done it?

    Thanks,

    Raul

Rivet or magazine block? If rivet, I used the calguns tutorial for ar magazines. In a nutshell, with mag spring/floor plate removed. Load 10 rounds with follower in magazine. Using straw as measure, put straw through open bottom and mark. Drill hole where mark for rivet or use marked straw to measure mag block.

Thanks ... Will I need to epoxy or weld the floor plate?

Yes, epoxy is advisable to make magazine mod permanent to avoid issues with the law.

          This is what I did.

I used piece of all thread 2 washers and 3 nuts.

I found the length I needed which if I remember was about 5.5 inches(for UZI mags). I then drilled out the dimple on the lower spring follower and used 1 washer and 2 nuts(would have used another washer but it interfered with the spring) to sandwhich the lower follower at the right height. I left a nub at the bottom so I can then slide the baseplate on and bolt it where the hole already is there. This way the rod stays centered and only touches the follower. I don't mind that it looks like its modified... if anything I prefer it.

Also give some room for the nut that goes between the lower follower and the base plate when you do your calculations.
