    yugo 7.62 x .39 ?

Beyond being berdan primed, is this stuff reloadable? It is brass cased, isn't it?

More than likely it is Berdan Primed and not Boxer so it cannot be reloaded. Also this should be moved to th Reloading Section

Berdan primed, so not reloadable. SoCal range safe and similar priced to Wolf 7.62x39mm, and shoots just fine.

Berdan primed brass is reloadable but, it's a PITA and it is almost impossible to find berdan primers. If you find any, please let me know where to get some.

Other than not being worth reloading, Yugo surplus shoots great in my guns.

Yeah I know all about the berdans, and I know given the price of x39 reloading isn't really cost effective, but I figured I might as well save some brass for rainy day.

I just save it for scrap or when someone needs it for an art project.

Well I know Winchester has 39 ammo that is reloadable but it is like .60 a round. You will eventually make it worth the high cost after several reloading cycles

What is the good source for ordering those Yugo surplus? I need some too since I plan to go to Angeles Shooting Range next Thurs. . Are we allowed to shoot these at A.S.R.?

                Thanks in advance.

Cope's has it for a decent price: http://www.copesdistributing.net/pro...oducts_id=2016

This ammo will not attract a magnet, so you are GTG at ASR.

Thanks for the info. BTW, I'm gonna reload my own 7.62x39 with brass case and LEAD bullet. Would this be OK to shoot at ASR too since the lead core attract a magnet???

That's fine. SoCal ranges are only concerned about bullets with steel jackets or with steel cores, due to sparking / fire risk in dry brush. Yugo 7.62 is copper jacket with lead core.
