    Select fire pump Remington 7615

Safe, 1 shot, and as long as you hold the trigger and pump. Would there be a market for such a rifle in California?

Probably the most lucrative market will be for the liability attorneys after a couple guys have negligent discharges holding the trigger and chambering a round while pointing the muzzle in the direction of a buddy.

Well that is the case with any firearm. If you break every safety rule someone or something will get shot. There already are shotguns on the market that have no disconnector and will fire as long as you hold the trigger and pump. I still see these guns for sale all over the place by many distributors and stores.

I know some Ithaca shotguns used to be like this, however they discontinued because of the liability issues. Personally, while I can see how it would be useful in a shotgun, it sounds like a stupid idea in a rifle. pinpoint accuracy and slam fire do not go in the same sentence.
