    Need help finding AK handguards

Ok I need help finding handguards for a Lancaster AK pistol. These have the shorter length handguards. Does anybody know any links on where to get synthetic or handguards with rails?

Here is an example that I borrowed from an auction from Gunbroker:

Ironwood Designs makes a copy of the Lancaster hand guards. I am pretty sure you can call them and order a custom set as well.

      Hey wants something with rails...

you would have to buy standard and cut it down probably unless you get an utlimax gas tube rail. IDK if that would even fit or not without modding it

I have the blonde wood furniture on my Lancaster. I want to set them aside since I wont treat this pistol like a safe queen. Probably get dinged up from use so I would rather use synthetic or aluminum hand guards with rails like the Midwest Industries.

I don't think you're going to find rails because rails would be pretty useless on that gun.

Like I said above, maybe some draco or krink stuff might work but more than likely you have to buy something standard then cut it down.

I dont think so. I really just need a top rail for a red dot sight. I might just have to go with a Scout Scope mount like this one for a rail:

Draco's use standard AK handguards. Dont know if a krink will fit on a Lancaster pistol. Im also wondering who makes the synthetic handguards that's in the picture? I sent the seller on gunbroker a question but no replies.

Okay then why not go for the ultimax gas tube rail?

Yeah that might be another option I might go with.

The krink ultimax should work or just get an amd one and cut it down. From the people who have it they love it and it is ideal with a red dot. Some people are concerned over the gas tube heating up the optics but no complaints so far.
