This is probably a stupid question. Will an ar10 a2 buffer work in place of an ar15 a2 buffer. I know that the one for the ar10 is slightly shorter and heavier.

I am by no meens an expert, But I would think the heavier buffer will cause your rifle to not function. I am sure some one will chime in with more knowledge on the subject, By not function i meen the heavier weight will keep the rifle from ejecting the spent caseNRA Life Member
