    Marlin 1895 SBL

Does anyone here have the Marlin 1895SBL? How do you like it? Do you know where I can buy one? They seem to be in short supply.

Have it. Love it. It's my first .45-70 and my first lever action. Very solid and packs a whallop. I haven't used the accessory rail yet, but it's not inconceivable an EOTech or other holo-sight might wind up there.

I got mine at Wild Sports in Orangevale (Sacramento area) about a year ago, for around $800.

Stupid people don't know they are stupid. Because they are stupid. They will follow evil geniuses and do their bidding, because they are stupid.

Really super stupid people look up to, and follow stupid people like they were geniuses, because to them, they are. Unfortunately the reality of it is, that doesn't make stupid people any smarter.

That right there is the root cause to most problems in the world.

Have you checked with Turners at all? I know they had a special on them a month or 2 ago. I directed another Calgunner that way and I believe he had some luck with it.

I got the one I had off of Gunsamerica.
