BCM, LMT, Daniel Defense are what you want. Around $140 for a complete BCG. This is the heart of the rifle, and considering other mfg's BCG's arent much cheaper, no reason not to get a Tier 1.

I second this. If you are interested I think there is also a excel spreadsheet that rates the different BCG's floating around calguns.

BCM BCGs are amazing and a great price too. But the heart of an AR is the barrel gents.

I respectfully disagree. The BCG is the heart of M4, it takes more abuse than any other part of the rifle. It conducts the locking, firing, extraction, ejection and chambering of a fresh round.

A quality barrel is important too, but not as much as the BCG.
