Removing armory grease?

What is the best method of cleaning off the thick coating of armory grease? Automotive degreaser?

by armory grease i'm assuming you are talking about cosmo? On metal parts i've had excellent luck with brake cleaner it just eats that **** away. On wood i've usually used my oven to bake it out, just wiping it away with paper towels.

Remember to lube any part you put brake cleaner on, it removes ALL oils.
