I already bought mags before 2000. If you have a featureless rifle and shooting next to me at the range you could use them in your rifle.

If someone leaves a high/standard cap at the range and you find it you now have legal posession of that mag and can use it in your featureless rifle.

To note: it is less the features that matter, but the ability to legally have a detachable magazine.

A 'featureless' build with a bullet button and any magazine larger than 10 rounds is still an Assault Weapon.

I'm actually going through this right now with a buddy. He went shooting in the desert outside of Barstow and actually found 6 STANAG 30-rounders. Now we're looking for a featureless rifle to load them into LOL.

I was told that those high-cap mags must be manufactured before 2000, correct? But I see a lot of featureless ARs with 30 rd Pmags at the range. How do you justify that? I am just curious... Please let me know.
