My brother is gonna put together a 6.8. Few questions. Does the 6.8 uppers use 5.56/223 lowers? Are the uppers all gas-impingment or some piston. Last, 5,56/223 mags. or mags. specificly to 6.8.

1. Yes it does use 5.56/.223 lowers
2. LWRC makes a piston upper in that chamber as well as POF and stag, There maybe few other brands that escape me at the moment
3. 6.8 uses it's own mags due to the round being thicker than the .223 a normal cap mag will hold 26 rounds if I remember correctlyBut I being poor, have only my dreams. I have spread my dreams under your feet. Tread softely, because you tread on my dreams.Comment
