    Sks confusion

I've been looking everywhere but no one seems to have an answer and I have limited Internet access since I'm out visiting Florida so I'm on my iPhone. My grandpa owns his own gunshop here and has a nice sks for sale but I've read they are illegal in California. Now i've seen that it's only the ones with detachable magazine that are banned. This one I can get has the fixed magazine so I want to know is it legal to have this rifle in California? Again sry if it's been covered but I have limited service here to do an extensive search. Thank you guys!

I just did a little research for you the AW ban list is a s follows, Norinco or made in China SKS type 56 56S 81S 84S 86 and 86S and any with detachable mags are banned, As long as it is NOT any of these models and has a fixed mag you are good to go. Hope that helps you out

Why come back to a sinking ship?

It's a link to the other thread you started which askes the exact same questions.
