I was looking at picking up this ammunition online (7.62x39mm yugo brass surplus). I am curious, is it possible to reload the brass cases even though the ammunition is corrosive?

Yup, and people usually dont reload 7.62x39 unless its a hunting round. Mostly because of cost per case and cost of bullets. .223 bulk bullets you can get all day. 7.62x39 bullets not so much.Comment

It's not the corrosiveness that makes the Yugo non-reloadable. Like the others have said, it's the berdan primer that makes the Yugo non-reloadable. It is possible to reload corrosive primed surplus ammo brass, as long as it is boxer primed. No, I don't think I'll ever get over Macho Grande.Comment
