    thumb hole stock

Please forgive me as i'm sure this has been adressed but I can't seem to find it via 'search'.
Is it illegal to have a centerfire bolt action with a thumb hole stock?
Thanks for your help in advance.

EDITED FOR CLARITY - DID NOT REALIZE HE WAS TALKING ABOUT A BOLT-ACTION RIFLE.
Not illegal, but illegal if you don't have a mag lock (bullet button) on your rifle. It's treated the same way as a pistol grip.

        Thanks ,that helped.
I really need to think about selling the company and moving somewhere more gun friendly.
When you have to worry about a 70 Year old Mauser there is a problem.

Actually, being a bolt action rifle, I believe he is good to go. I believe the flowchart is for semi-auto centerfire rifles, so no need for a mag lock

Bolt action, not semi auto.... You are good to go!

Yep, totally missed the "bolt-action" part up there! Sorry, my bad.
Didn't realize something was amiss until I saw "70 year old Mauser" ... oops.

Sorry about that. The flowchart is only for "centerfire, semi-auto" rifles. Essentially with a bolt-action rifle you can have anything you want on it. Don't worry about it, you're good to go.

No flowchart that I know of. Bolt or pump actions can have any evil feature you'd like. "Assault weapon" evil features only apply to centerfire semi-automatic rifles.
