A KAC lower would be marked SR15 and is banned by name . A larue one, you would have to own or have on order a larue stealth upper to be eligible to buy one from Larue..

KAC (Stoner) Lowers are on the list. As long as they are marked "SR-15", they are not available to civilians in California.

you can get a LaRue through a middleman FFL. it also requires a purchase of a LaRue upper.

LMT is a perfectly fine choice if you don't want to go through the expense or hassle of getting a LaRue.

I thought I had seen a few pictures of KAC lowers here on Calguns that had different markings?

you might be thinking of the SR-25 (.308) models that are marked Mk11. those can be transferred in, but those are .308 caliber and start at $7500+ ea.

I think you are right my mistake. So I guess the LMT is gonna have to do since I have no plans of buying a LaRue upper as I already have the upper that I want in mind.Thanks for the help I knew it was a long shot but it will happen someday!
