Question Regarding Bullet Button Tool

My personal rule of thumb is that I want to be able to hand the unloaded rifle to a LEO or DA and tell them to remove the mag using nothing but what's already in their hands. If they can't, then I know I'm GTG. Otherwise I may have to pay someone a lot of money to argue what the definition of "is" is.
