I prefer silver bear but I won't shoot it in my AR that I shoot the most often. PMC is worth the difference in price.

I say all steel ammo is great if you're shooting it in a AK, SKS, or some Russian style gun.

I shot about 400 rounds of Barnaul hollow points through my BCM upper a couple weeks ago with no problems at all.

My AR (stag 2HT upper) Shoots wolf great with zero issues! Sure beats paying an arm and a leg if im just wasting ammo shooting random crap in the desert..

Hornady TAP training as others have said. Not once have I had an ammo related malfunction bcause of this ammunition.

The best one is the cheapest one

TAP is a badass bullet. Saw a .308 TAP on Locked n Loaded break up completely in 10 inch chunk of ballistic gel and disintegrate a rib roast. That TAP bullet is something else.

I shoot Silver Bear 62gr HPBT Zinc-plated ammo. Maybe 3 or 4 FTE & FTF in over 1K rounds. No FTFire yet.


Also shoot Hornady TAP 75gr HPBT Training ammo. Good stuff. Not a single problem in the case of 1K I got. Almost done with it, less than 100 rounds left.
