choosing 223 ammo

hey guys, i want to stock up on some 223 bullets, i was wanting some m855 green tip 62gr or xm193 55gr, but i know some ranges wont let me shoot anything with steel core and hopefully this lead ban doesnt pass, but if it does we wont be able to shoot lead up in the mountains which is where i do a lot of shooting, so what is my best bet?? thanks guys

Are you talking about stocking up on bullets as in reloading supplies or actual ready to fire ammunition?

PMC is good. Hornady TAP practice is a good steel-case alternative too.

Try doing a search, this has been covered pretty extensively already.

Does the Lead ban only apply to mountains if so which mountians or all?

I plan to shoot on BLM Land in the near future what the heck am I gonna shoot if not lead......PLASTIC
