556 in a saiga .223 ???

i know, i know never run 556 in a 223 firearm but i keep reading that some people do because "its an ak".

anybody got any experince with this? is it a kaboom waitin to happen? premature wear maybe?

Do a little searching online, but I thought I remember reading that they are actually 5.56 chambers, but as they were imported as "sporting" rifles, were labeled as 223.

I believe there is a Siaga forum where you could probably find a difinitive answer....
