Anyone own a Sig556 and a AR that can check something for me?

I need to replace the magazine catch on my Sig556 and was wondering if the mag catch for an AR would fit. I know the bullet buttons and mag catch buttons are the same.

    Thanks for any info.

You mean the arm with the screw that holds the magazine in place right. The sig 556 I have is 1st edition lower. Looks like it arm sits higher and so an AR mag catch arm will not work on my sig 556.

Sorry to inform you that the Sig556 Magazine catch bracket itself is completely different than the type used in AR15 lowers although the Button, and Spring are the same.
