    Will a low profile gas block fit under the DD Omega rail?

    DD -> YES.
    Vltor -> YES. Vltor clamp version -> NO
    DD will peek out a little bit. https://www.danieldefense.com/?page=...product_id=107
    Vltor would be completely hidden under the rail. http://www.vltor.com/lpgb.htm

      Its going to be REALLY close, regardless of which one you chose....the Omega is Skinny.

      I'd be afraid of hitting the rail against something and having it knock against the gas block.

          Omega 9 - you're on the right track.

            Drive on down to TPF and I will install a DD AR15 or M4 9.0 or I also have M4 10.0s too.

            www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.

                +1 on the Lite rail or M4 rail. Although it will fit, the Omega wasn't really designed to go over a low-pro gas block. If you look at DD's web site you'll see that they say the 7.0 is designed for carbine gas systems, the 9.0 is for midlength, etc.
