100-200 every outing. I try to go every other week, but at least once a month.

.22lr, 50BMG or something in between? There will be a big difference depending on caliber and the guns I have! I can easily go through 500 centerfire rifle rounds and +500 rimfire rounds in a day at the range.

100-150 rifle rounds, in addition to about 100 handgun rounds.

Then I break out the .22lr. 150+ rounds minimum, since the stuff is so cheap to shoot.

First Congrats on the Scout. I'll shoot a few hundred rounds through my rifles in a range visit.

              Approx:
              100- .308/7.62
              100- .223/5.56
              100-200 .22LR
              50- .44mag
              20- .30-06

A couple hundred per centerfire firearm...double that if shooting metal...triple that if shooting rimfire.

I usually shoot around 100-200 for my AR and a 40-100rds out of my bolt action .308. For .22lr I go through 200-400

I shoot 100-200 at the range. Lots of .22 lately.

This is about the same for me. I would love to go out and shoot 400 .223 rounds but my budget only allows me to shoot maybe 100-200. Then again I like to go shooting at least once every 2 weeks so the costs adds up. Recently I have been shooting more .22 ammo as its a lot cheaper and I still get the fun of going out!

                        A .308 for a 1st rifle...thats a bad idea.

You will get much more training value from shooting a lower recoiling and cheaper round.

I take more than one rifle to the range. So I'll go through 200 to 600 7.62x39 and maybe 20 -40 7.62x54r and around 60 ish 30-06 plus who knows how many .22's

Depends on the day. If i'm there from 11:00 till 4:00 then I'll shoot anywhere from 100-600 rounds through various guns. I try to bring out 2-3 handguns and 2-4 rifles when I go just so I can get trigger time. I am going to cut that drastically down so I can shoot .22lr out of a new pistol and maybe some .223 and 7.62 as well.

Usually about 50-100, which is about an hour.. Sometimes about 50 through the pistol just for the fun
