    Desert tatical DT SRS .338

I'm considering getting one... Any opinions? Places I could check one out before buying. Another rifle in the same class? Maybe even pics?

We sell these quite often and I've been really impressed with the quality. Awesome rifles.

Do a search... There was a member (can't remember whom) who made a thread last month I believe showing off his, along with pictures of targets from about a mile.
Then another horse PONY came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a huge sword. My kinda guy.

Yup, if you can afford it and good glass as well as do your own hand loads - go for it. I've owned or been issued a bunch of different precision rifles over the last 20 years and this combo is my favorite.

If you want to save some money, go with the .300WM version - it's still good to about 1400 and factory ammo is MUCH cheaper
