Anyone have instructions on how to do this?

Bought a Lanworld buttstock pin, but there were no instructions. Dont want to break anything...

    Thanks.

remove the lower receiver and the buttstock should slide down and off. Not sure how much you need to disassemble it, but that should get it off the upper.

Very simple. Pull pin and push lower receiver forward. Once receiver is off, butt stock assembly can be removed by pushing down on butt stock. Good luck.

Sorry, should have been more specific. I need to get access to the hinge latch so I can place This block pin in there.

With the shock in the folded osition, there are two hex bolts visible, but do not seem to release anything when they are removed. Don't want to proceed further without knowing what I'm doing...

My buddy and I came up with this solution which works great! Just pop out the stock push pin, then pop in our exact replacement minus the spring, place a penny in between the plug and stock and then tighten until it locks. Great thing is you can throw in the stock original push pin at any time in less than 2 minutes. No cutting and no damage to the rifle and you won't leave it will remain "unscared". Let me know if anyone wants once, we are working on several CA compliance items and soon our website will be live. We have the same solution for SIG folders.

Sounds great, but how do you close the stock without stressing the plastic locking tabs? Obviously, they no longer retract to allow for closing the stock. They're also made of plastic, so you shouldn't force it closed.

I figured out the Lanworld stock pin despite the lack of instructions, but it seems to require some additional disassembly. It seems to require the stock hinge roll pin be removed so that the stock can be reinstalled over the now-locked locking tabs, then pivoted back to re-mate with the hinge, then drive the hinge roll pin back in.

This is the only way I can see that does not risk snapping the locking tabs in order to close -and lock closed- the stock. If you want to reverse it, that's the only way as well.

I'd like to hear more about your design.

Our design it will fit loosely in the butt stock until you close it shut then tighten the hex screw which then tightens and makes it so it won’t fold. If you want to give it a try I’ll send you one at no charge and if you like it pay me $10, would love to get some more feedback.

This is the solution we came up with and works great! Remove the stock push pin and then insert our block put a penny in so when you tighten the block you won't risk damaging the stock. As you can see this takes less than 60 seconds so if you ever want or have the need to return to a folder you can do so and your SCAR will not suffer any damage. If anyone wants one let me know, we have the same design for SIG folders.

Notice in the first few pictures that the original Scar push pin has already been removed. If you don't know how to remove it this is how. To the left of the push pin there is a small square hole (clearly visible in picture 2). Grab something that will fit inside and simply push down hard on the black part. This will cause the original push pin to slide right out. It's as simple as that.

Left Coast Tactical is good to go. They have a great product for a great price and they are very friendly.
