    AR config help

Ok guys I have my first AR built minus BUIS and flash hider (both on order) I have a question.

I have a MMG installed and cut down to fit an A2 entry stock. My question is because of the MMG could I get rid of the A2 stock and use a 6 position stock or does the drop free mag + 6 position stock make it an assualt weapon and there for not Kali legal?

Yes, a collapsible stock turns it into an assault weapon. Do not do this.

If your mag is drop free, you cannot have any evil features.

What I did was order a collapsable stock and installed it. When I found the appropriate stock length for me I pinned the stock and epoxied it so that it was no longer collapsable; this way the rifle fit me perfectly but it was within the law.

As long as you cannot make it collapse that's fine. Bushmaster made fixed collapsable stocks during the Federal AW ban.

I found a meaty spot where the two areas came together and drilled a very small hole between the inner and outer portion of the plastic. I then found a small cotter pin just slightly bigger than the hole. I then placed the cotter pin in a keyless chuck cordless drill. I heated the tip of the cotter pin and then "drilled" the cotter pin into the hole I had drilled previously.

This melted the cotter pin to the stock. I cut and filed the pin down on both sides and then painted it with black paint.
