Anybody heard back from bushmaster about the tax time uppers yet?

I was one of the first to place an order and so far all i've gotten was a confirmation e-mail the night I ordered. I have not been charged yet and have not yet gotten a reply from bushmaster about the status of my upper. Is anybody else in this situation???? I have never ordered from bushmaster so I don't know how fast their service department responds.

I just got my tracking # @ 1330 today. I ordered at around 0230, got one of the last ones as far as I know, it was sitting in my cart for awhile.

Did you order more stuffs than the upper? Apparently, they will be shipping you everything else BUT the upper to you first since they double or triple sold the number of upper than what they had originally BUILT for this *special*.... so, many of us would have to wait for them to build more... which will be quite a couple of weeks out...

I've got a tracking number too... but that tracking is actually for all the various stuffs I ordered together with the upper.... but my upper will not be coming anytime soon, as I was told.... (which I am ok with... )... I ordered around 12 PST.

My estimated delivery date is ALSO friday... but they already told me that it is "everything except the upper"... for me...

I think the ORC 16" uppers are the ones that are backordered. I ordered the A2 20" Uppter and recieved my tracking number this afternoon.

I was hoping for at least a response to my e-mail by now. When I called bushmaster the day the sale ended I was told I would be among the first to be processed. meh. I wonder how many people made orders.

They canceled my order. The email said they sold out at 8:30am on Friday and my order was made after that.

They need to pay more and hire better IT guys. Their website still processed my order.

Ok. I just got the final word from bushmaster. Since I've heard so many different stories here is how it goes. Basically, Bushmaster's site was not set to cap orders at 500 (the number of pre-built uppers). The scrambled immediately to lock things down. At 5:30 AM they cut orders, however, people who still had the original page open in their browser (or as a favorite)were still able to make orders. They cancelled most of the orders after 5:50 because it would take them to long to get their product to customers. Bushmaster did indeed make a profit off of these uppers. The guy informed me that they offered them at dealer pricing. They copped nearly 750K in orders in one night but had to reduce their original intake in order to meet demand in a timely manner. After cutting the orders made after 5:30 cali time they were at $600K of orders. They are working feverishly to meet all of the orders within 4-5 weeks. The sales rep claims that they will make an attempt at sales like this again but will try to have at enough supplies for 2000 orders in the future.
