what are brands available for the ar15 that is similar to the raddlock by having the turn out adjustable mag release? when i have my raddlock opened up to release a mag by finger push the mag will wiggle out And fall out by itself from the shock cus of the spring being too light..i took a regular, stiffer spring and cut it down to size which somewhat fixxed the problem, but i never did like the feel of the raddlock to begin with.

There are lots of people who have the Raddlock BB and have had no problems. But screws backing out is not far fetched. Maybe you can just put a little tiny bit of loctite (very, very, very small dab) on the mag catch and then install the Raddlock. How about a P50 BB with a Freelock? The Vamfire MLD looks ok..Comment

I like my raddlock a lot more than the BB design, but man that vamfire mld does look pretty damn sweetOriginally posted by Neil McCauleyAre you actually suppost to "taste" wood?Originally posted by Neil McCauleyJust wish I knew what wood in your meat is suppost to taste like.Comment

That is the free lock. they made that as well, It kind of works on the same principle as the radd with loosening the center nut, but it's made to go into an existing bullet button instead of replacing the entire unit. The design of the mld seems to address the "potential" issue of the center nut becoming too loose on the freelock or raddlock. The mld center nut remains stationary while the outer part of the button lowers or raises with the set screw to create a "fixed" or "removable" mag. I have a feeling this will become the "go to" design as far as versatile mag locks goOriginally posted by Neil McCauleyAre you actually suppost to "taste" wood?Originally posted by Neil McCauleyJust wish I knew what wood in your meat is suppost to taste like.Comment

I used the Radlock but I had to retire it in order to use Thordo's magazine modification. I went back to the standard bullet button and reloading loaded mags are way faster now than it used to be before.
ARRR-15 will Thordo's magazine modification work with your button?sigpic

My buddy and I recently went shooting and he shot corrosive yugo ammo through his Mosin and figured he could just piss in the barrel and call it a day. Several days later the bolt was rusted shut but I guess the fouling wasnt TOO bad.Comment
