Is there a difference between DE, FDE and UDE? I've seen some vendors list them as just DE and others as FDE and I've seen some posters call their stuff UDE.

It's all just tan that costs more because they don't call it tan.

Definately between FDE and UDE. Magpul says UDE is FDE with OD mixed in. Each manufacturer may have slight differences between, tan, desert, fde, coyote, and the like.

UDE-Urban Dark Earth is more of a light grey like concrete.

UDE is urban dark earth....and its a greyish whitish greenish lookin color...its weird. DE and FDE are tan and dark tan.

So does Magpul manufacture all those colors or are those variances by different manufactures? Riflegear lists their Magpul furniture as Flat Dark Earth while DSG (where I picked up my last furniture set but in black) has their Magpul listed just as Dark Earth.

Okay, cool I was thinking the same but then I read somewhere that DE is tan and FDE is dark tan.

magpul actually mis-names their packaging therefore you get retailers using different names for their colors. sometimes items are marked "DE" and sometimes "FDE" purely based on how much space they have on their label or number of characters in their item sku's. DE and FDE are the same. although in every run there are very slight variances that comes from the nature of manufacturing.

UDE is a Larue Tactical exclusive color
