Long time lurker, first time poster...
I have a standard M1A that has what I believe is a second generation Springfield Armory sight mount on it. I would like to switch this out for a Smith Enterprises or maybe a ARMS #18. Can someone recommend a person/business in the Sacramento area (I'm in Roseville) that would be able to perform the switch? I have read up about how to do it in the special Guns and Ammo M1 edition, but I am a major novice when it comes to this stuff.
Also, if someone has a used Smith/ARMS mount laying around they want to sell, PM me! Thanks.
