BOHICA no longer selling .510 DTC uppers

I just talked to Sandy on the phone and she said Chris has chosen NOT to make or sell any more .510 DTC uppers to California.

I wouldn't be surprised if they go under soon, keep an eye on their website to see. Chris started out as an underdog and he made big promises that bit him in the ***.

Then he had his falling out with Orkan and things seem to have been going down hill since then. Sell now while you still can get your money out of the upper.

I don't know anything other than it happened. I don't want to know any of the details. all I know is Orkan was a complete ........... when we had to deal with him and Far50 on the FCSA forums. Orkan has been kicked off of many forums. That should say something about his personality.

ouch, its hard to keep your business in good light sometimes. My friend called them and he said it sounded like they had a baby sitting business as well. Either that or the guy was at home when he got the call. Either way he said he gave my friend all the info he needed. I have heard good and bad about them, luckily I can't afford any of this awesome stuff.

That's funny, I have never been a big Bohica suporter yet, after the KB and seeing the pictures, I believe that the design is not unsafe. In fact, I finally met Chris at SHOT this year. We talked for a while. He knew exactly who I was and asked me why I had the opinions I do. We went through the list of reasons. He understood and agreed with my reasons. In the end, I told him that I would have zero problems getting behind a Bohica and firing it. I still don't think they are the best 50BMG out there but, they are not the worst either. Anyway, I don't blame him for making a bussiness decision to stop offering a caliber. Things change.

The 3rd Sunday shoots at ASR were started by myself and a few others and grew from there. I used to be a regular but my job usually has me working weekends now. If you feel like bashing my company, Union Pacific go right ahead, they could care less.

As for BOHICA not selling an upper in 50 DTC who cares! Like I said, there are better companies that will fill in the gap. If people are going to buy them they can still get one from ALS, Ferret, Taclite... So go support a company that got butt hurt over the fact that they got bashed on CalGuns when one of their uppers had an OOB detonation in someones hands. ALS took a beating on more then one board and I'll bet you can still order one of their uppers in 50 DTC.
