    Century Arms CETME, any positive?

I recently saw Henderson Defense is selling Cetme's for 505, only $29 more for CA legal mods. This seems like it would be a heck of a fun rifle if it functioned properly. I see a lot of anti CAI stuff thrown about online, anybody buy one of these and get positive results?
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

While I cannot speak for the CETMEs, Henderson is a great company from what I have read, I would buy from them before anyone else when it comes to rifles. They will fix it before they ship it back to CAI and if they can't they will ship it back.

Looks like they're out of stock. Some of these have had headspaceing issues. If you get one, be sure to check the headspace on the bolt. You might have to buy +2 or +4 rollers, which are only a couple bucks, to compensate for improper headspace.

The one I've fired had the world's worst trigger pull - well over 20 lbs or so. And long. What's not long is the stock and since I'm tall that damned hump where the stock meets the receiver bopped me a time or two.

Still, the thing went "bang" every time and accuracy @ 50 yds was fine.

My friend bought one from henderson. There's need to be some fitting done to the rifle. His takedown pins needs a hammer and screw driver to remove. It needed about 10 rounds to break in to fix fte issue. His cetme eats anything. He put on cheap scope mount with trijicon reflex and no zero issues after 100 rounds on two range trips.
