Had both. Phase 5 is much nicer. Their newer one is skeletonized so it is even lighter than the original.

As a lefty with a lefty stag w/ norgon ambi mag release will this be of any use to me? Will I be able to reach over the lever and hit the ambi mag release with my left hand index finger?
