    LAW483 M1 Garand E2 Stock

Thought these pics might be of interest to some here. Had some folks in Cali that wanted a pistol grip on an M1 Garand Tanker (because its one the few semi's on which you can have one). Here is the pattern I've made from my LAW483 M21E2 stock and a Garand stock. I'll be running them in Pepper and Nutmeg laminated wood sice we can get the matching handguards from Boyds. When I get the first one back see how long it takes to inlet it I'll determine a price and post them in the For Sale forum.

    Tony,

Nice work, one suggestion. An optional adjustable cheekpiece and then marketing the stock as a "sniper" or "tactical" or even "socom". That way you can hock up the price a few hundred bucks.

I'll expect a free stock in the mail for my original and brilliant marketing strategy.

All I need now is a Garand.....

HEY!!!!!!!!! you stole both mine and DullJay's ideas. We're sueing!!!!!!

The nerve of these people. You help them out and they won't even give you a free stock....

LAW483. Very nice work, I may just have to get a Garand just so I can get one of your stocks. Now if I can only find someone to convert a Garand over to take BAR mags. Hey that would be the best gun. A "sniper" stock on a detachable 30.06 gun. UMMMM SWWWEEEETTTTT.

The first one is mine... in Nutmeg, he he he.

This is going to be GREAT Tony, I can't wait until the stock if finished.

After it is finished I am going to have Warbird do my tanker build, It is going to be chambered in 7.62x51 NATO and going to have a Smith Enterprise muzzle break to help with the recoil.

Would you all be interested in a Dual Pistol grip version?

I have the plans and am considering doing it, but want to know the interest level.

                        Take care,

How's about a nice boring M1A stock with a more vertical (target/sniper style) grip area, and an adjustable cheekpiece, pre-inletted for bedding?

                              YEP! That's it!
I'd prefer a darker color though (black or charcoal).

                              Are they designed for bedding?
