Hello all... So Ive got a question regarding an OLL. A buddy of mine recently picked one up. Its got a three position safety. The pictographs are like the HK series of rifles... A bullet in a box with an X through it (safe), a single bullet (semi), and a single bullet followed by another bullet in what appears to be a cup lying on its side. Im asuming this is for two round burst. Now the "guts" in it are for semi auto only. Is it a no no to have this lower without a class 3 stamp? Even if it is set up for semi only. Any help is greatly appreciated....

does it have a hole on top of the selector? if there is not, legal. If it does have one, take it to a bandsaw. The markings do not matter at all, only if you have the evil 'third hole'(\__/)
(='.'=)
(")_(") Copy and paste this bunny into your signature to help him gain world domination.!!! -
Lots of lowers out there these days have markings like that.
Doesn't mean squat.
If it can't hold the parts, then it's legal. Please read the Calguns Wiki
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

No, the sleector does not. The parts came in a semi kit from DPMS I believe. Thanks so much for the help though....
When I got my lower from Spikes I had them make it with Safe (filled in with whire) and semi (filled in with red) so when Mr/Mrs. LEO comes meandering along there would be absolutley no question as to the function of the gun. The HK style markings are pretty trick though!Last edited by desertmedic; 03-31-2010, 10:27 PM.Comment
