Advice for my first build please

Ok after doing some research, Im starting to formulate a plan. What do you guys think of this? Any Advice? I'm trying to keep it basic.

RRA Complete Lower Half / Two Stage Trigger / 6-Position Tactical CAR Stock / Egro Grip. All Black of course

Then add the mag lock and 10 round mag.

What do you think? Will I have any problems matching the colt upper with rra lower?

You might want to add the mag lock first, before putting on the upper, or stock and pistol grip.

Absolutely nothing wrong with a Colt upper. But why the RRA lower? A Mega, Spikes, or CMMG receiver, is, I guess you could say, safer, because nothing is banned from those companies.

What do you plan on using your AR for? SD/HD? Target or paper punching?

For self defense, or combat, a 2 stage trigger may not be the best choice. More moving parts to break. But Im sure there are tough and rugged 2 stage triggers out there. A lot depends on youre preference and what youre comfortable with.

This will be a paper puncher like all my guns.

I'm going to have the gun fully assembled here in Chicago before I import it when i move and that will include a mag lock.

I admittedly don't know a ton about ARs and I'm actually going to my friends house monday who is a gun collector (has close to 1k) and we are going to go through all the features and maybe build one from the ground up. So maybe i'll pick a different lower.

MY ADVICE...ENJOY IT! after i finished my first build i starting thinks, what do i wanna add, and i should build an ar-10...what do i want for that??? it is a disease, we are all sick.
