    Prince50 Mag Lock

I was just wondering how it worked.

I know you can "lock" it with an allen screw and then turn it to unlock to function as a regular mag release.

But what does the allen screw lock to??

    Thanks.

The allen screw holds against the base of the magazine button tunnel in the actual lower receiver.

I'm confused. You started this post about how you installed a bullet button and want to take it out and now you start this thread about wanting to go with a mag lock?

has anyone tried to take one off....I just put it on and it really tight... Are you trying to put on like a hat and it's tight

My radar is really going off right now.....

P.S. if your a medic, I hope to GOD you're not the one I get when I need one.....

I was not overjoyed when I saw how it was 'sticking out' either. (The Bullet Button , ok guys?). BUT I was tickled pink, popping my mag out to reload at the range. No going back to cracking it open to load- It loads as it was meant to, by putting a loaded mag in the magwell of my 'no capacity to accept detatchable mag' rifle.

Yeah, the BB sticks out a bit more than a Prince50 but my god - the convenience of not having to crack open your rifle to top load trumps that minor cosmetic detail 1000x in my opinion.
