    kel tec

    hey
is the keltec more like a AR or a AK as far as function or is it a combination of both? I mean the front barrel and upper look like a AK style and the back portion of the upper and the "lower" are AR like in style. granted the pseudo monte carlo grip is not AR like but sort of glance over it quickly

It has the gas piston design of an AK, but uses an AR style rotating bolt and AR mags. It's the bastard child of a menage a trois between an AR, an AK, and a Glock.

I've gotten a 2"-ish group of 5. I have the A model with an 18" barrel (the others are 16")

                  HAHA bingo.

Accuracy can depend a lot on the ammo and the shooter. I myself have shot just under 1" at 100 yards but it took way more effort then the typical shooter puts in. Most people who shoot my SU-16CA get about 3 inches. Its very much like an AK in the accuracy department like Randall said. Its a fun gun for sure that travels nicely and take AR mags. I like mine for what it is, a cheap, light, Cali-friendly range plunker or trunk gun. It will never win World War 3 but it puts a smile on my face as well as my shooting buddies.
