    Ballistic Calculators

Do any of you long range shooters on here have any online ballistic calculator websites that you recommend using?

JBM is the way to go... Ballistec FTE is great for the iPhone too. Just make sure you input the correct data.

    G7 not G1 BCs
    Correct velocities
    Correct line scope hight.

GA Precision Yes, it's worth it.

I was using JBM but you need a lot of info to use that correctly. I was hoping I could find one that had pre-set factory ammuntion that you could input into a given atmosphere.

You don't need to enter everything...

        Just...
        G7 BC
        Muzzle Velocity
        Density Altitude
        Sight Height

This is the same info you will need with any calc that will give you number you can use. Does not matter what if you are reloading or using factory ammo.

What ammo are you using, I can a least tell you the G7 BC of the round.

You have to enter all that information because all of that information is important for best accuracy.

If you found a simple site with basic info, it would not be accurate or precise.

I understand that, was just hoping to find one that already had data built in for factory loads.

Sometimes you can find data on the manufacturers website. But since that information is based on one given set of atmospheric conditions, its not likely going to be accurate.

What ammo were you wondering about?

Ballistic FTE is a much better app. It supports G7 BC and DA.
