    Bolt Carrier Tilt Ruger SR-556

I want an AR Carbine with a Quad Rail. I thought that the Ruger SR-556 was what I was looking for, but I've read a lot about bolt carrier tilt. The Stag Model 8 has rails on the bolt carrier to deal with this. Has Ruger done anything to fix this?

Carrier tilt is a byproduct of piston systems. If you get a standard DI AR, this won't be an issue.
Then another horse PONY came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a huge sword. My kinda guy.

What made you think that a piston AR was what you were looking for?

What are your findings, based on all that you've read about bolt carrier tilt?

What is unique about the inside of the upper receiver of the Stag Model 8, where the pads or rails on the bolt carrier contact?
