    18" SPR barrel

Does anyone know if Denny's 18" SPR barrel is available from a distributor other that GTS? Also, anyone have any opinions on a quality 18" SPR barrel other than Denny's? Maybe Krieger? Thanks for any input.

I have real military and White Oak SPR bbls on my rifles. Darn if I can tell difference when I shoot them. They all shoot very good.

Noveske also, it isn't rifle length. Mine is very accurate. DD has an 18" now, it is on the website.

I have used several different makes of 18" spr barrels. For the money $160-$200 get the DPMS MK 12 SS 18" barrel that is Teflon coated black and has a gas rifle system. Great barrel and price. The fluted MINI SASS bull barrel is also nice but heavy.

The DPMS SPR barrel is awesome. No complaints with mine at all, it's very accurate and has run 100% reliably so far.

That's what I'd like - 18" 1/7 barrel, but not the shiny stainless steel, Black would be preferred if I can get it. Anyone knows more deals on these?

18" Mini SASS Stainless black coated in stock $189.

Here are a couple of pictures of what the fluted bull barrel looks like. The MK 12 is similar, only difference is the price, and it has NO flutes, and has a rifle lenght gas system.

I don't think you can get better than this barrel at this price range. I have used both and they are outstanding.

                          Hope this helps.

Should be in stock soon at Midway:

They are 1-8 twist rather than 1-7. Personally I'd rather have the 1-8 twist anyway. 1-7 can be a bit fast for some of the lighter 55 grain loads, and the 1-8 will easily handle 77 grain loads.
